StepSonN

StepSonN is kid number 1 for Hijo and kid # 3 for me. (thus me having 4 children) Hijo had StepSonN when he was 18 .. one month shy of 19 years old. His girlfriend at the time was a senior in highschool. They had problems .. lots of problems. (well duh .. they were teenagers). They were off and on for about 3 years when she said .. either you are with me or you don’t see either of us. She disappeared and we now know she was married right afterwards. She legally changed StepSonN’s name to her husband’s last name. Hijo looked for him alot. When we started dating, I looked for him. Even paying an online service to locate him. Nothing. I even called her parents house .. oh and they were RUDE!!!

So last August out of the blue .. the EX aka … CK for CooKoo called Hijo. She located him in .. hmmm about FIVE SECONDS. Wasn’t too hard to find him. Plus she told Hijo that she talked to people who saw him all the time.. so she kept tabs .. NICE. She kept StepSonN and Hijo apart for 13 fucking YEARS … Are you kidding me?

Now I know how it is to have an ex and to have child(ren) .. its hard .. very hard. Its work to not bad mouth the ex … but its worth it to make your children feel loved, accepted, whole and most of all secure within themselves. There are definitely times I would like to keep the kids away from my ex .. but I don’t .. because they need a Dad … whether he sucks or not .. he is their Dad and they need that. Period .. OFF RANT

So in August of 2004, she calls out of the blue and here comes the emotional roller coaster. StepSonN is a very sweet boy. He was very excited at first to spend time with Hijo. After about a month of some one on one, Hijo brought StepSonN home to meet me, the kids, and his Father (StepSonN’s Grandfather) She flipped … major flip out. She didn’t want him to meet us. Are you kidding me .. we are his family whether she likes it or not?? …She wrote Hijo this big old love letter about always wishing they could ride off into the sunset (insert cookoo noise) She pulled StepSonN from Hijo after that night.. so we hired a lawyer … We didn’t see StepSonNn again till his 16th birthday on July 4th. Court was on 5/16 .. one day before we had BabyJ. It went very well as she as asking for back child support and hospital fees … We owed a minimal amount of back support and had to start paying monthly child support for 2 years till StepSonN is 18. Worth it. Hijo never not wanted to pay support .. he ALWAYS wanted to share a life with StepSonN and she kept that from both of them. She is really a piece of work ….To me, your child should ALWAYS come first!

We get to see him very rarely. She wouldn’t allow him to go camping with us .. or dirt bike riding .. We get to take him to lunch every once in awhile.. oh and we take him shopping (which she wasn’t happy about either?) Nothing makes this woman happy.

StepSonN switched school this year. He is now going to an alternative highschool. The school seems pretty with it … BUT you have to use the school to its full potential. The classes are only in the mornings. In the afternoon you “should” be going to a tech school like warren tech, or working. Both give you credits towards graduation. He isn’t doing this. Makes me sad that she has no expectations of him to succeed. Hopefully me andHijo can give him some self confidence and get him to graduate and go on to college. We told him that if he gets a 3.0 gpa AND takes his driving classes, that we will buy him a car and pay for insurance. I really hope he does this. He can succeed .. HE CAN!

Vegas Prepas

Getting prepared for Vegas. We are going to Vegas with 40 or so of our closest friends. We leave on the 30th. We are renewing our vows on our 2nd anniversary. You see we got “common law married” back on October 2nd 2003 .. we had been together 6 months and had been living with each other for a month and a half. We went fast .. very fast. However I have known him for years and have always had the hots for him. Well he is a hottie after all. We planned BabyJ. She took about 4 months … 1 month of some good old daily sex! My family was not happy that I was not married and pregnant. But you see .. I did it “right” the first time. Met a man, fell in love, got married, had 2 kids .. right after 2nd kid hit his first birthday .. said man had affair. Not all that it is cracked up to be. So I wasn’t so anxious to do it “right” again. I trust Scot .. I never worry about him cheating on me. I just think that it doesn’t have to work a certain way anymore. Life is life and you really can't plan and you can't expect ... I am much more mellow and go with the flow now.

We said our vows and got officially married on April 18th. That is our 2 year anniversary of me calling him up one late Friday night .. asking what he was doing and inviting him over (1 hour drive) for a beer. We’ve been together ever since. How romantic!

Back in April, I was 9 months pregnant and if you do the math .. we didn’t even hit 1 month before babyJ was born. HA! Since I was SOOO Huge .. I only wanted Family at the wedding. Thus leaving out lots and lots of wonderful friends. So we decided to have a big party in Vegas and celebrate with all of our friends. In fact, the only family going is Hijo's Brother and my best friend Lou (she is family afterall .. she did make it to the first wedding)

I really wanted to do Dr Suess Vows in Vegas .. but the won’t let me! Wouldn’t that be awesome … here is a taste

Isn’t that AWESOME…. But the Flamingo in Vegas won’t let us pick our vows … too bad .. that would be awesome.

We are trying to get a margarita fountain. Our first “official” date (besides the night over for a beer on 4/18/2003) was a Jimmy Buffet concert. S is my “Mexican cutie”. If we can’t get the fountain .. which it its lookin 50/50 then we’ll do toasts with Margaritas .. how fun!!!!

BabyJ is staying with my Mom. She is very excited to have some one on one with her. The boys will be with their Dad …

4 Months Old

Today my baby girl is 4 months old. I find it so hard to believe. She has quite the personality and really is just a joy. She makes me very happy. She sleeps fairly well. We just got over her first cold. It was a doozy .. but she handled it pretty good. She is just a doll and is a very happy baby.

The boys are 7 & 4. They are wonderful with her. They haven't been jealous .. yet. We have a 1 1/2 year old golden retreiver. He is so hyper .. but fun too. He is the most jealous of everyone. but he is very protective of her (and the boys) and lets the boys wrestle with him, steal his food.

All my kiddos were born in May. (I must be very fertile this time of year .. September) I'm making sure to take extra precautions right now as I am done having children. I could have a ton. Labor & Delivery are a cake walk for me (not easy ....by any means) but much easier then 10 months of pregnancy. My pregnancies were all hard .. not medically hard so I really shouldn't complain. But I get so damn big. 62 lb gain with my first BigB ... 58 with my second Littleb and not positive on babyJ .. but I'm guessing in the high 60's and I had her at 38 weeks. I have lost all the weight but the last fricken 10 pounds. I'm working on those though. I get so big it hurts. My nose grows 3 x the normal size .. if not bigger.

Okay ... the last pregnancy was the easiest .. which is odd at 34 1/2 ... but I made it and got my girl.

Today I had 2 soccer games. They are fantastic athletes. BigB my oldest scored 1 goal and littleb my middle one scored 2. They are naturals I tell ya. Must of got it from my side as their Dad isn't too athletic. He likes to think he is .. however I used to kick his ass at volleyball. Thats all from me baby.

This & That

I am going back and forth on whether or not I should have a blog. Everyone's doing it .. what harm can it cause? If my family got ahold of my thoughts .. baboom .... Trouble with a capital T! So I just won't give it to them. Thankfully my family isn't very computer literate .. :) Except for my hubby (Hijo) ... but he doesn't have time to read about feelings. Let alone feel them! He is a terrific husband though. I shouldn't bash him as I love him dearly and intensely. This is my second marraige. My first husband decided it was fun to start dating the secretary (we all worked together including her husband) Nice year that was. I ran into my current husband S right after I got separated. We had known eachother for roughly 19ish years (went to highschool together) and dated in our early 20's. He had told me NOT to marry my first husband. All well and good except I wouldn't have my 2 perfect sons. That was the only thing that marraige was about. My 2 beautiful boys! They have soccer games today .. so rush rush. Hubby is out riding dirt bikes. Baby just started napping. So I was going to sit down and post a huge one ... but alas I must get ready for the games. I told you it wasn't about me!!!!

Will post later today about my daughter. Today she is FOUR months old and a terrific little girl. She is the BOMB!
