Blizzard #2

Yep .. in less then a week .. another blizzard is hitting us. Last blizzard left us with a whopping 27 inches .. give or take a few feet for drifts!!!! We weren't even close to being dug out and wham .. hit with another one. The boys left with their Dad yesterday and I waited very not patiently for them to get to his condo. Once they were safely there I finally relaxed. I hate for anyone to be out in this weather. The roads are horrible. Anyways .. I went and got a pedi/mani and it was awesome. I need the "me" time more then I needed the "cures". I only had to drive a few blocks to the nail place. After that I went and filled up my tank so that it wouldn't freeze in this weather. Came home made some hot wings and had a beer! YUM!

So we woke up to about 14 inches this morning. Supposed to get another 8 or so? NICE! Hijo just went out and started snow blowing the front areay. It should be fun .. NOT. He not only has to do our house but the apartment building he manages. He won't have to do that for a couple days tho! He hires someone for the main areas but he has to take care of the other stuff .. like the dumpster access etc. Pain.in.the.but!

BabyJ has her fisrt set of stiches (btw .. I have never had stiches) she is 19 months old! Anyways her hand was slammed in our front door and it just smashed it .. had to visit the wonderful germy ER. It was packed too ... but the wonderful Triage nurse rushed us to the front of the line for some odd reason(maybe because I was super nice and she was super tired and I complimented her .. not to get put ahead but because I could see how hard she was working?) Anyways we were only there 2 hours compared the the 6 hours she has quoted us if she wouldn't of pushed us to the front. Thank God too as I really didn't want to sit in the FlU filled petri dish and have all of us (all 5 of us) catch the nasty. Love HER!

And ... I'm also thankful that I"m still on vacation so I don't have to worry about work at all during these storms. I'm still logging into work and checking email and helping out when I can as I'm not out and about. Such a dedicated employee!!!

Welcome to the world Baby Girl

My niece was born yesterday afternoon. She is a month premature. I guess my SIL went for a regular checkup and her heartrate was low. They sent her to the hospital and it was off and on .. on being the heartrate was good ... off it was slow.

So they decided to deliver her early. Right now she is on a plane to Portland because her lungs aren't all developed.

Huge hugs and lots of prayers for you baby girl.. I already love you so much and I just know you are a fighter!!!!

The weather outside is frightful! Yikes . I had this week off and next week so I didn't have to worry about driving to work. I did get up early and showered to take the kiddos to school but as I was putting on my make up and listening to the radio, I heard that the school district had closed all the schools. so here we sit as a big happy family. BigB is in the loft watching Christmas Movies he Tivo'd. LittleB is in my room watchin NFL Network. Baby J is downstairs with me watching Sponge Bob on video now and Hijo is in his office. I have to wrap a few presents today ~ otherwise I'm all done. I do need to take the kiddos to the dollar store to buy their presents for people .. but not today. I'm not leaving the house.
Tomorrow is supposed to be their last day of school but I'm betting that'll be cancelled too. So maybe tomorrow we'll get brave and Hijo can watch the baby.

Friday we were planning on going to get haircuts .. but we'll see?

anyways I'm all bundled up ... and we are all warm ...Maybe the kids can have hot chocolate.

I'm telling you .. I'm already done with the shopping part of the season. Its crazy and hectic and it makes me clausterphobic ....

Customer service? Is there such a thing .. ? we have had several instances in the past few days where we as the "customer" were treated like theives. I'm telling you they make you feel like shit when THEY are the incompetent assholes who don't know what they fuck they are doing.

Shopping experience #1 .. helmart. A quick in and out .. yea right. we didn't even have one christmas present .. just groceries and the only reason we went to helmart is that we use the parents ch*oice formula. You can only buy it there. So we bought other groceries but not much. We were there over TWO hours ... 20 minutes of shopping ... and the rest in line. Hijo said that I was lapped 4 times over in all the other lanes. The cashier was THAT slow. And when I got home after being so flustered and frustrated I looked at the receipt. She charged me twice for a printer ... So .. in order to get the money back . you have to GO BACK TO THE SAME GD STORE. Well I know that now .. but I called another one right on my way home from work to get the refund. She said of course we can help you come on in ... I get there .. wait in line AGAIN only to be told .. A. Of course we CAN'T do this. B. Of course the CSR Rep didn't tell you that. so I'm twice the liar .... So I called back the original store. Gave them all the receipt info and now I have to drive clear over there to get the refund. They fucked up .. yet I have to spend $$ on gas .. and my TIME which with 3 kids is valuable!!!! and I have to do all the work because they hire dumbass old ladys.

We should of just went home. But we braved it to Sams club to get a plasma TV. Bang .. find the one we want for the price that we want. Its a 50" plasma. I ask the helper boy for wall mounts. He points in a direction. I walk over there ... wall mounts only go up to 42". Go back to dumb boy. He says well we might have them did you look??? So I say ..can you go look. He says No he can't leave his spot cuz he has to stay there in case customers have questions. Am I NOt a customer? hmmm thought I was. He doesn't like my smart ass. I don't like his dumb ass. People just don't give a shit anymore and I'm so done with it. This is why I shopped mostly online. No dumbshit people to interact with. Just me and my baby (laptop)

So .. we go thru the line. We will get xmas money so we charged it and did the no interest no payments. However dumb cashier didn't do that and instead of saying I'll fix it I'm so sorry .. he says that I have to go and wait in LINE again at the customer service desk. ARRGHH

Then yesterday we go and buy a new washer and dryer .. same thing .. didn't get the no interest no payments .. same thing .. waiting to pay it off in January with bonus and xmas cash .... have to redo the transaction.

Luckily I'm almost done and only have stocking stuffers left. I've wrapped about 75% of the gifts but ran out of tape. Where should I go buy tape. Not brave enough for hellmart ..... arrghh



please tell me that someone out there actually cares that you are a customer and what happened to the customer is always right. these are just 3 of like 10 episodes in the past 2 wks ...
